Today we're having a beautiful snow day! We got about a foot of snow between last night and this morning and it's still coming down slightly. The boys went out with my husband to play in it and shovel the driveway this morning. I think it took us longer to get them dressed and ready to go out in it than it did for them to play in it! LOL They were right back in freezing and wet asking for some candy cane hot cocoa. At least it looks nice outside and it's a great day to catch up on some neverending laundry!

Ever notice that most, if not all of the As Seen on TV stuff is junk??  I bought my husband the Pasta n' More cooker and the Zorbeez rags for Christmas.  I've also bought the Bare Minerals makeup and bought my sons the Air Hogz cars.  I can't say that any of these items were worth the money or the numerous commercials on tv!  The cars are made very poorly, the pasta bowl isn't any easier or better than cooking the pasta the old fashioned way and the Zorbeez absorb nothing at all!  The makeup didn't look like makeup at all, didn't give me any flawless looking skin, just dry patches...LOL  I'm now convinced that everything "As Seen on TV" is pretty much junk.  Anyone else come across some useful As Seen on TV items worth the money?  I'd be interested to know. 

Welcome to my blog.  I've created this place as a social outlet when I need a break from motherhood and everyday chores.  I am a 25 year old mother of four children ages 4 and under.  I am the wife of James and broker of our real estate company.  James and I have 3 boys:  James Jr. (4), William (3) and Zachary (23 months).  We recently had a daughter Hailey Grace who is now 4 months old. 

 

Everyday is a busy day in my world.  It is full of cooking, cleaning, diaper changes and baby feedings.   We enjoy watching The Biggest Loser on NBC and I got their cookbook last week for my birthday.  I've been on a health food kick all week long, trying to learn as much as I can about healthy cooking and living for my family.  It is a lot of work I tell you!  I never knew how much work was involved with cooking.  It takes a lot of planning before you step food in the grocery store and the dishes!  OMG The dish load is crazy with cooking meals at home!  We used to buy a lot of food out and as the number of children grew we'd just order takeout and bring it home.  Was very costly and not healthy.  I enjoy cooking, it just sometimes won't fit into our very busy lifestyle.  Speaking of...I need to go do some laundry!
